Search (Limits Testing) Actions Tab
Actions Tab
The Actions tab is used to specify an action to be taken when the search condition is met.
Setting Description
During Run or Replay Actions speci fi ed here will occur in either Run mode or Replay mode.
Beep The analyzer beeps when the search condition is met.
Stop The analyzer stops when the search condition is met.
During Run Only Actions speci fi ed here are taken only during Run mode (while acquiring live data).
AutoSave acquisition data Saves acquisition data to a fi le when the search condition is met.
AutoSave trace Saves Trace data to a fi le when the search condition is met.
AutoSave picture Saves a screen capture to a fi le when the search condition is met.

AutoSave File Naming
When one of the AutoSave actions is enabled, the name of the saved fi le is automatically incremented
even if the Automatically generate fi lenames option (Tools > Options > Save and Export) is not enabled.
When the fi le is saved, it will be saved to the last location a fi le was saved. You can check this location
by selecting File > Save As . The Save dialog will show you the current save location. If you want to
save the fi le in a different location, save a fi le (any type) in the desired location. This resets the save
destination to the new location.
