Field Replaceable Unit Disassembly/Assembly

Maintenance tray cam roller

Turn off the printer and remove the power cord.

Remove the right-side and left-side covers as explained in the earlier
topic, “Cabinet panels and covers” on page 8-4. Open the front cover.

Remove the maintenance tray.

Remove I/O board 2 by removing its wiring harnesses and the four
screws securing it in place.

Remove the sensor flag mounted on the right end of the maintenance
tray cam roller.

Remove the electric clutch mounted in the left end of the maintenance
tray cam roller. It is held in place by an E-clip.

Slide the roller shaft to the left and then remove.

Reverse these steps to install the maintenance tray cam roller.
