There are two sets of lower media feed rollers. One set of rollers is
rubber; the other set is white plastic. Both sets of lower rollers are
located below the maintenance tray.
To clean the lower media feed rollers, press an alcohol-soaked
cleaning card between the white and black lower rollers.
13. Use the
Clean
button on the front panel to operate the lower feed
rollers. Press the
Clean
button a minimum of six times for each roller
to cycle the roller through one complete revolution. You may need
several cloths to clean the rubber rollers. If a card becomes excessively
dirty during cleaning, discard it and use another.
14. Close the front cover.
