PC_DEV_FAULT_LATE_CLEAN_
REQUEST
Printhead temperature has dropped below the head-clean-needed
threshold. This condition occurred after the warm-up sequencer had
determined a head clean operation was not needed.
4,014.44 (0x240e)
PC_DEV_FAULT_TURN_FEED_
ROLLERS_TIMEOUT
Timeout during turn feed rollers. A twenty minute timer elapsed before the
turn feed rollers command was executed. The only recovery possible is to
cycle the power switch
4,015.45 (0x240f)
PC_DEV_FAULT_TURN_EXIT_R
OLLERS_TIMEOUT
Timeout during turn exit rollers. A twenty minute timer elapsed before the
turn exit rollers command was executed. The only recovery possible is to
cycle the power switch.
4,072.37 (0x2348)
PC_JAM_TOO_NARROW
Jam -- media is too narrow. The media is too narrow to transfer the ink off
the drum without contaminating the transfer roller: Install wider media to
clean the ink off the drum. Check that the user specified page width
matches the physical media page width.
4,073.38 (0x2349)
PC_JAM_TOO_SKEWED
Jam -- media is too skewed. The media is too skewed in the paper path to
transfer the ink off the drum without contaminating the transfer roller: Check
for proper adjustment of the manual feed tray or paper tray guides. Clean
the paper path feed rollers.
4,074.30 (0x234a)
PC_JAM_X_OFFSET
Jam -- media is offset too much. Media is staged too far to the left or right to
transfer the ink off the drum without contaminating the transfer roller. If fed
from the manual feed slot, check for proper adjustment of the manual feed
guides.
4,075.31 (0x234b)
PC_JAM_STUCK_SENSORS
Jam -- there are stuck sensors in the paper path. The paper path sensors
indicate that media is in the paper path at an unexpected time: Remove the
media. If no media is present, check for a stuck or defective paper path
sensor.
4,080.36 (0x2350)
PC_JAM_X_OFFSET_
STD_TRAY
Jam -- Media is positioned too far to the left or right in the standard paper
tray to continue with the print request. Remove the standard tray and check
for proper adjustment of the paper tray guides.
4,081.37 (0x2351)
PC_JAM_X_OFFSET_
AUX_TRAY
Jam -- Media is positioned too far to the left or right in the auxiliary paper
tray to continue with the print request. Remove the auxiliary tray and check
for proper adjustment of the paper tray guides.
5,000: Y axis (drum)
5,001.41 (0x2c01)
YA_HOME_FAIL
Drum home sensor failure: the drum turned one full revolution without
seeing the drum home sensor activate. Check the drum home sensor.
5,002.42 (0x2c02)
YA_ENCODER_FAIL
Drum motion failure: the drum stalled, possibly because the drum position
sensor electronics have failed, or because the motor drive or drive belts
have failed, or because something is physically blocking the motion of the
drum.
5,002.31 (0x2b02)
YA_STALL_FAIL
Jam -- drum has stalled. The drum stalled during an image transfer: The
media may be too heavy, use a lighter media weight. The printer may be
feeding two sheets of media simultaneously. If so clean the pick roller and
check for proper operation of the media tray separator pad. The power
supply, electronics, or drum mechanism or roller mechanism may be
defective.
5,004.33 (0x2b04)
YA_SENSOR_FAIL
Jam -- unexpected paper path sensor states. The preheat exit or paper path
exit sensors do not indicate the correct media condition required to start
either the image transfer or media exit operations: Look for defective
(sticky) sensors or media stuck in the paper path.
