Button/Icon Function
Sets the instrument for in-service monitoring
of T1/E1 lines at DSX monitor ports that are
resistor-isolated. The YBT1 transmitter is
disabled in Monitor mode.
T1 and E1 : Provides a nominal 110
Ω
input
impedance and compensates for the 20 dB
resistive loss of a DSX monitor port.
Sets the instrument for in-service monitoring
of terminated bridging T1/E1 lines at DSX
monitor ports. The YBT1 transmitter is
disabled in Bridge mode.
T1 and E1 : Provides a nominal 1 k
Ω
input
impedance and compensates for up to
10 dB cable losses.
Sets the instrument for out-of-service error
insertion testing on terminated lines. The
YBT1 transmitter is enabled in Terminate
mode.
T1 and E1 : Provides a nominal 110
Ω
input
impedance and compensates for up to
10 dB cable losses.
Option T1 only . Opens the Loop Codes tab
(Setup > Edit > Loop Codes) to select a loop
code. The YBT1E1 Tester only supports
Line Loopback codes. Only available when
Terminate is selected. See page 3--19 for
more information.
Option T1 only . Sets the instrument to send
a loop code and loop up equipment at the
far end.
