Button/Icon Function
Option T1 only . Sets the instrument to
remove the far end loop and return the
instrument to Terminate configuration.
Option T1 only . Displays the loopback code
as set with the Loop Codes button.
Sets the instrument to take measurements
on received data while looping the payload
data from the receiver back to the transmit-
ter. Loopback is useful when testing from the
far end of a line. The YBT1E1 transmitter is
enabled in Terminate mode. See page 3--19
for more information.
T1 and E1 : Provides a nominal 110
Ω
input
impedance and compensates for up to
10 dB cable losses.
Sets the instrument transmitted signal line
coding, framing, receive/transmit clock type,
BER pattern, and (Option T1 only) transmit-
ter power output level.
Changing any of these parameters resets
the alarm and error counters and restarts
measurement acquisition.
Displays the instrument transmit values as
set with the Tx Setup button.
