Troubleshooting Procedures

HDVG1 HDTV Digital Video Generator Service Manual

Set the rear-panel power switch to on, and then use the

front-panel switch to turn the instrument on.

Watch the display for the HDVG1 Confidence Tests. Note

whether the HDVG1 module passed the diagnostic.

Note the highest number to appear.

Note that there may be a problem with the

Backplane board. Record troubleshooting

information and contact Tektronix.

Install the HDVG1 module in a different slot.

Use the Module Removal procedure on page 5--7 to remove

the affected module.
