HDVG1 HDTV Digital Video Generator Service Manual

Troubleshooting Flowcharts

The troubleshooting flowcharts provide a series of steps to help you determine

whether the HDVG1 Generator module is faulty. Each chart relates to an entry in

Table 5--3.

Use this procedure when the

mainframe does not recognize

the module or does not pass

power-up confidence tests.

TG2000 recog-

nize the HDVG1

Yes

TG2000 now recognizes the HDVG1 module.

HDVG1 module now passes power-up

confidence and self-calibration tests.

Does the

HDVG1 module

pass

Confidence

tests?

If you recently upgraded any TG2000 or module firmware,

check that you did not accidentally delete the HDVG1

firmware.

If you accidentally deleted the HDVG1 firmware, reload

the HDVG1 Module firmware.

Does the module

appear in the “slots

occupied” list during

power--up?
