GIMD—'The input o f the vertical am plifier is
grounded to provide a zero (ground) reference
voltage display (does not ground the input signal).
Allows precharging the input coupling capacitor.
DC—All frequency components o f the input signal
are coupled to the vertical deflection system.

CH 1 VO LTS/D IV and CH 2 V O LT S /D IV Switches-
Select the vertical deflection factor in a 1-2-5
sequence. VAR control must be in detent to obtain
a calibrated deflection factor.

PROBE—Indicates
the
deflection
factor
selected when using either a IX probe or coaxial
cable.
10X
PROBE—Indicates the deflection factor
selected when using a 10X probe.
K y VA R Controls—Provide continuously variable uncal
ibrated deflection factors between the calibrated
settings o f the VO LTS/DIV switches when rotated
clockwise out of the detent position. Channel 1
VO LTS /D IV VAR control is inoperative when X-Y
VE R TIC A L MODE is selected.
