Notes on installation
•
Itisnotallowed to use the air conditioner in a room wherethere are live flames (eg open flames, gas
or coalstoves)
•
Itisnotpermitted to drill holes or tamper with the connectionpipes.
•
The air conditioner must be installed in a room largerthanthe minimum area. The minimum area of
the room isindicatedon the plate or on the following table 1 referred to the unitpositionedlower
(condensing or evaporating).
•
The leak test must be carried out after installation.

WATER FLOW REGULATION MODE WITH ELECTRONIC VALVE
CAIO isequipped with an electronic water flow management valve thatoptimises the use of water.
Notes on unitwaste water
The CAIO packagedunituses water to condense the refrigerant. The water passesthrough a
steelplateheatexchanger.
Supportedinlet water pressures
The unitisdesigned to operate with inlet water pressures compressedbetween 0.8 and 3 bar.
The optimum operatingconditions are with water pressures of 1.5 bar and zero back pressure at the
discharge. In some installations water hammermayoccurwhen the unit in operationgoesinto water flow
modulation or shutdown. In this case itisrecommended to install the appropriate kit and possiblyalso a
pressure reducer.
ATTENTION
In the event of a power failurewhile the machine is running, the electronic valve
willmaintain the position ithadbefore the power failure. Itisrecommended to
control the flow of water during the blackout, and to install a safetysolenoid valve
availableas an option in case of high probability of power failure.

Waste water isnot for drinking
The use of waste water for food or similarpurposes, or use for
sanitarypurposesisprohibited.
