CAIO CONDENSINGUNIT INSTALLATION
The installation of the CAIO unitincludes an installationfeasibility check and then the following steps which
can be summarised in the list below:
1.
Feasibility check prior to installation
2.
Selection of the installation site
3.
Anchoring the unit
4.
Electrical connections
5.
Connecting the remote control
6.
Hydraulic connections
7.
Connection of the condensate drain
8.
Connection of the suction and distribution system
9.
End-of-installation checks and start-up of the system
1. CHECKING FEASIBILITY BEFORE INSTALLATION
Beforeinstalling the unit, read the user'smanual and general conditionscarefully and keepthem.
Then check that the conditions are suitable for installation:
1.
Ensurethat the unitmeets the client'srequirements for thermallevels and noiselimits.
2.
Ensurethat the installation site issuitable for the installation of the unit and allows the minimum
distances for installation and maintenance.
3.
Check that the wall/ceiling anchoring the unitissuitable to support the weight of the unit under
operatingconditions.
4.
Check that a water supply and drainage pipe isavailable.
5.
Check that the water supply pressure iswithin the manufacturer'sspecifications:
a.Minimum operating pressure 0.8 bar.
b.Maximum operating pressure 3 bar.
Itisadvisable to alwaysinstall a pressure reducer with relative pressure gauge for better pressure control
and to avoidsuddenshutdowns of the appliance (availableas an accessory COD. RID-PR). To avoidnoise and
vibrations in the water pipes, itisadvisable to fit an anti-water hammer device (availableas an accessory
COD. KIT AWHAM).
6.
Check that the condensing water flow rate isalwaysequal to or greaterthanthatrequired by the unit
in the most severe conditions.
7.
Check that the internalsections of the hydraulicpipescorrespond to whatisforeseen for the unit's
connection.
8.
For the hydraulic connection, use flexiblehoses with a suitableinternaldiameter to avoid the
propagation of vibrations.
9.
Make sure that a power supply cable of adequatesection with
dedicatedthermalprotectionisavailable. The electricalvoltage must meet the requirements of the unit (see
the identificationplateattached to the unit).
Incorrectvoltagewillirreparablydamage the maincomponents of the unit.
