- After fixing the screws on the terminal block, pull the power cord to check thatitisfirmlyfixed.
- Nevercut the power cord to lengthen or shortenit.

5. CONNECTING THE REMOTE CONTROL

The remote control isconnected to the unit via the signalcablesupplied.
The signalcable with red connector must be passedthrough the cable entry hole and thenconnected to the
main board on the connector [XKQ].
For positioning, fixing and connection of the cable to the remote control refer to the remote control
manual on page 34 of thismanual.

6. HYDRAULIC CONNECTION

The unit must be hydraulicallyconnected to the water inlet and outlet. The water inlet and outlet can be
identified by plates on the unit.

The unithas male threadedinlet and outlet connections with ½" thread.

The Y filter supplied with the unit must always be installedbeforeentering the unit in order to protectit from
anysuspensions in the water thatcould cause clogging or obstruction of the internalhydrauliccircuit. The
filter must be installed in compliance with the arrowindicating the flow rate of the fluid inside. The filter
must be periodicallychecked and cleaned.

The water drain must be connected to a drainage system thatallows water to flow out of the
unitwithoutgeneratingbackpressure.

Itisalwaysadvisable to place a stopcockbefore the inlet of the unit so thatitisalwayspossible to interrupt the
supply of water to the unit for bothmaintenance and removal.

7.

CONDENSATE DRAIN CONNECTION

The CAIO unitallows the alternative use of 2 types of condensate drainage. A drain by naturalfall and a
drain with the aid of the drain pump.

Water inlet and outlet cannot be reversed and must be respected for
correctoperation of the unit.

Failure to install the unit'sinlet filter couldresult in seriousdamage to
internalcomponents.

Ifthere are significant back pressures in the exhaust, itispossiblethat the
unitwillnot work properly and willpresentoperatingerrors.
