In particular, for electrical connections, checks are requiredconcerning the insulationresistance of the
electrical systemand the continuity of the protectionconductors. If the powersupply cables, set toground,
communication or wire panel are damaged,replacement with cables with the
samecharacteristicsismandatory.
The electrical connections must be made respecting thefollowing indications:
•
Use cablesthatcomply with the regulations in force in thevarious countries.
•
Respect the connection order of the phase, neutral and earthconductors.
•
Install a suitableelectrical energy protection and disconnectiondevice with delayedcharacteristic
curve, with contacts openingof atleast 3 mm and with an adequate breaking capacity
anddifferentialprotection.
•
If the machine power supply isthree-phase, make sure torespect the exactsequence of the phases
(check the correctoperation with the pressure gauges).
•
The power supply voltage of the condensingunit must have avaluebetween ± 10% of the
valueindicated on the productiondata plate. Ifthisisnotrespected, you must contact yourelectricity
supplier. In the presence of a three-phase supply, theimbalancebetween the threephases must be a
maximum of3%.
•
Itisforbidden to enter the electrical connection cables insidethe condensingunit in anyother part
than the one envisionedby the manufacturer.
•
The electrical connections are made on the terminal boardlocated inside the electrical component
compartmentlocatedbehind the inspection panel.
•
Connect the cable to the terminals inside the electrical panel.
•
Absolutelyavoiddirect contact with metal parts.
•
Make sure, after about 10 minutes of operation of thecondensingunit, that the screws on the
power supply terminalboard are closed.
•
To protect the unitagainst short-circuits, fit an omnipolarmagnetothermal switch (IG) with a
minimum contact distanceof atleast 3 mm on allpoles on the power line.
Power cable entry point
The unitis a single-phaseunit and requires the connection of a power supply cable for use.
To pass the cablethrough the metalwork, use thespecially-designedcablegland.
