2. PLACE OF INSTALLATION

The place of installation must be agreed with the customer,payingattention to the following points:

•

The equipment must be placed in a technical room of adequatesize and in compliance with the
regulations in force in thecountries whereitwill be installed.

•

The condensingunit must not be installedoutdoors.

•

The surface on whichitwill be placed must be able to support its weight, the vibration-damping feet
of the machine MUST NOT BE DISASSEMBLED except for the use of spring antivibrationmounts for
wallbracketinstallations.

•

The front panel must be open to inspection, therefore the front space must be suchas to allow the
operator all the operationsnecessaryduringinstallation, maintenance and assistance (checks,
adjustments, refrigerantcharge).

•

In case of multiple installations (2 or more CAIO) DO NOT OVERLAP the condensers.

•

The installation must allowspecialized and authorizedpersonnel to be able to intervene, in the
event of maintenance, easily, respectingboth the safetydistancesbetween the units and the
otherequipment and the technical spacesindicatedbelow:

ANCHORING THE UNIT

Beforeanchoring the unit to the wall/ceiling itisnecessary to check that the wall/ceiling can support the
weight of the unit in operation.
In addition, check that the place of installationallows the minimum distancesrequired to be respected.
To anchor the unit, follow the steps below:
1.

Mark the position of the holes on the ceiling using the template provided with the unit (ifsupplied)

or by measuring the distances of the fixing brackets.

The CAIO monoblockunit MUST BE INSTALLED in an accessible position for any
technical interventions in safety, otherwise the CAT (Technical Assistance Centers)
will be able to refuse the intervention.
SUBJECT DAMAGES TO THE HYDRAULIC CIRCUIT. IT IS RECOMMENDED TO
PROVIDE AN INSPECTION FILTER ON THE WATER INTAKE IN ADDITION TO THE
SUPPLIED
