Part 3
Use
Putting the range into service
IMPORTANT:
The first time the oven is switched on you will notice a bad smell due to
production residues such as grease, oil and resin.
When using the oven for the first time you should switch it on at the
highest temperature for at least 1 hour, making sure that it is empty. After
this time has elapsed, the oven is ready for use.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE:
For best results, it is a good rule never to put food in a cold oven. It is
best to wait for the oven to reach the chosen temperature first.
Never line the oven walls with aluminium sheets, especially the bottom
part of the cooking chamber.
Clean the oven after every time you use it.
Turning the burners on and off
COOKTOP BURNERS

With igniter “W” (fig.8) or a match, light the flame.
After the flame has lit, hold the knob down for roughly 10 seconds (count

instructions.
For model PPF70G7 light the pilot by pressing igniter button “ ”
repeatedly (fig.2).

TURNING THE OVEN ON:
The heating elements are controlled by a 4-position selector switch,
while the temperature inside the chamber is controlled by a
thermostat (60-300°C).
The selector lets you choose the most suitable type of heating using
the appropriate heating elements.
Turn the knob (fig.6) of the heating elements' selector to one of the
on positions . The green indicator light “E” (fig.1.1) will come on to
indicate that the oven is connected to the mains.
Turn the knob (fig.5) of the thermostat until you reach the desired
cooking temperature.
The orange luminous indicator “F” (fig.1.1) lights indicating that the
heating elements are on.
N.B.:
All the cooking must be done with the oven door closed.

device is activated turn the oven off, turn the electrical power to the
appliance off, close the gas tap installed upstream of the appliance and
