Instructions for using the operator:
Before carrying out any work on the operator, disconnect the mains plug. All persons using the door system should
be instructed how to use the operator safely and properly.
Try out and test the force cut-off, as well as the emergency release cable. With the garage door open, check the functionality of
the emergency release cable once per month.
Attention:
!DANGER!
a door with weak, broken or defective springs or an inadequately counterbalanced door can quickly close
of its own accord and without warning.
Only operate the door when the door‘s range of travel is within your field of vision. Wait until the door has come to a complete
stop. Before driving in or out of the garage, make sure that the door is fully opened and has come to a complete standstill.
Maintenance Instructions:
We recommend you have the entire garage door system inspected once a year by a competent technician.
Attention: Important instructions for a safe installation:
• Incorrect installation can cause serious injuries. Please follow all installation instructions carefully!
• In the interests of health and safety it is vitally important that all these instructions should be followed carefully.
• Keep hand-held transmitters away from children.
• Garages without a second entrance require an emergency release; the functionality of this should be checked once per
month.
• Do not hang on the emergency release.
• Always cover and protect the electric garage door operator before drilling.
• Electrical installation on site must comply with the relevant safety regulations 230 V AC, 50 Hz
• Electrical connections must only be carried out by a qualified electrician!
• Knowledge of the application of EN 12635 is necessary (requirements on installation and use).
