2.1.8

ONE-MAN WALK TEST MODE

▪

The following procedure is used to put a zone into Test Mode:

Press and hold

for 3 seconds.

The Test LED and Zone 1 Fault /In Test/Disable LED will both flash rapidly
Yellow.

Press

to move on to the zone to

be tested.

Each press will advance the selection onto the next zone (i.e., two presses
will select zone 3) and this will be confirmed by the respective Zone Fault/In
Test/Disable LED flashing rapidly.

Confirm your selection by pressing

once.

The Test LED and the selected z

one’s Fault/In Test/Disable LED will now

be flashing fast Yellow.

To exit the walk test selection mode, wait for 10 seconds or press reset.

The same procedure is used to remove a zone from Test Mode. Alternatively, for a quick exit from
Test Mode, push the Reset button.

When a zone is in test, the Fire LED for that zone, the General Fire LED, Buzzer, and all Sounders will go on
for eight seconds before automatically clearing the condition if the device in the field has been reset.

No relays will activate if a zone is in test, except those relays programmed to switch when Sounders are
Activated.

mode. A hardware reset is required to revert
to Normal.
