Maintenance: Battery pack replacement
Step 1
Where a security seal 'tag'
is fitted it is to be ensured
that the necessary
permissions are in place to
allow entry of the unit.
Step 2
Remove the enclosure lid
as indicated in the
'Maintenance: entering the
enclosure" section of this
document.

Step 3
Taking care not to catch the PCB
mounted antenna (where fitted),
carefully disconnect the battery
connector from the PCB then
remove the battery pack from
the enclosure.
Note - the removed battery pack
is to be disposed of in a safe,
and environmentally sound,
manner. Refer to the
"Precautions: Lithium battery
packs / cells" section of this
document for further details.
Step 4
Before fitting the new battery
pack, ensure it has a terminal
voltage
≥
3.6V - only a battery
pack of the types listed below,
and that are specifically
approved for use with Cello 6S,
may be fitted:
Tadiran p / no. 'TL5930/FTE'
Technolog p / no. '2116TR3000'
or
Tadiran p / no. 'TL4930/FTE'
Technolog p / no. '2117TR3000'.

section of this document
Step 6
Refit the lid as indicated in the "Maintenance: refitting the enclosure lid" section of this document.
Refer also to the "Considerations: Installation" and "Precautions: Lithium battery packs / cells" sections of this manual.
Step 5
Route the battery pack cable in
the shallow recess next to the
battery compartment as shown
then, taking care not to catch
the PCB mounted antenna
(where fitted), attach it to the
PCB mounted connector
