10.1.3 Step size

Using the
right/left arrow buttons
you can choose the step size with which you
would like the motor to move. You have the choice
1 Step

3 Steps

Steps
or
Continuous
.
With the choice
Continuous
the motor is rotated in the selected direction until you push
any key.
10.1.4 Moving the antenna
You can determine the optimum position for the desired satellite by monitoring the indicators
for signal strength and signal quality. Adjust the antenna until both bar graphs show a
maximum value.

Rotate the antenna using the
arrow buttons
to the
right
or
left
until the desired
position is reached.
10.1.5 Command mode

Use the
right/left arrow buttons
to select from the different options.

Confirm your selection by pressing
OK
button.
10.1.5.1 Saving
When you have an optimum setting for the satellite the position is saved. A position number
appears in front of the satellite.
10.1.5.2 Deletes current position
With this option you can delete the position data of the selected satellite.
10.1.5.3 Go to sat. position
With this option the antenna is moved to the satellite set in Point
10.1.1
. Provided that the
position of the satellite has already been saved.
10.1.5.4 Go to position 0
When installing the external installation, the motor must be set to the reference position (
0°
).
You can therefore use the function “
Go to reference position
” to turn the motor to this
position at any time.
10.1.5.5 Setting East limit

to the maximum possible position in the east.

10.1.5.6 Setting West limit

Turn the antenna as per Point

In this option the west and east limits are not used.
