The Profile Editor
Purpose
The Profile Editor (Figure 34, Figure 35, and Figure 36) is used to view and modify pressing profiles. A
pressing Profile is information that is used to control the pressing process speed, force, and height. It is
the heart of the control sequence, and allows the user to define exactly how a connector is pressed into
the PCB. The editor provides up to 20 steps, numbered at the left of the screen, to be entered for a given
profile. Profiles are stored in an sqlite database with a user-specified name The profile editor can be
accessed under the Editors drop-down menu.
