Bleeding the hydraulic pump
DANGER!
There is a residual danger of trapped fingers. Never attempt to reach into a tool before
switching off the machine completely.
WARNING!
•
Bleeding and calibration work must only be performed by trained, authorised
personnel
•
Before starting disassembly work (including protective panels) make sure the
hydraulic unit power supply has been completely switched off.
•
Only one person should operate the machine at any time.
1. First, the tool must be removed from the machine (see Tool Removal/Assembly).
NOTE
To ensure the full 40mm piston stroke, there must be no tool in the HV crimping
machine.
DANGER!
Bleeding of the hydraulic pump and calibration must only be performed when the
protective panel of the HV crimping machine is fitted.
2. The Macrolon cover must then be screwed onto the crimping machine (see Figures 13 and 13.1).

3. Turn the key switch (1) right to the program mode (ON).
