2.1
Responsibility
The HV crimping machine must only be operated by trained and authorised personnel. The machine user
must clearly specify and monitor the personnel who are responsible for operating, equipping, servicing
and maintaining the machine. In particular the persons responsible for working on the electric equipment
must be specified. This type of work must only be performed by trained specialists.
In the event of unauthorised modifications to the machine the manufacturer or supplier will not be held
liable for resulting damage.
2.2
Machine setup and operating instructions
The HV crimping machine should only be set up and operated when it is fully functional by personnel
who are aware of the safety and hazard issues involved.
Before using the machine for the first time check that all safety devices, in particular the protective panels
are fitted and are in good working order. Protective panels must only be removed when the machine is
non-operational and has been disconnected electrically. In particular, the housing and panels should only
be removed by specialist personnel.
DANGER!
Contact with live components can result in death!
If you think that the machine cannot be operated any longer without danger, shut it down and prevent it
from being switched on accidentally.
The machine should only be used for the purpose described in the operating instructions.
The manufacturer or supplier shall not be held liable for damage arising from improper use: the user
alone bears responsibility for this risk.
