Remove power from the SOLOgarde controller
Move the jumper so that it is on both pins of Reset Link JP4 JP4 JP4 JP4
Apply power to the SOLOgarde controller
The controller will emit a series of bleeps from the sounder to indicate that it has been reset
Remove power from the SOLOgarde controller
Remove (or park) the jumper from the Reset Link JP4

Apply power to the controller. The controller is now reset and ready for programming.

Turn the hand-held programmer on by pressing and holding the power button on
the top and connect it to the bottom of the reader and log-in to the controller by
entering the 4-digit password followed by the *
