Problem
Tip
Cannot play back a disc.
Make sure that the product supports the disc.
Check the region code of the disc. (Refer to page 26.)
Clean the disc.
USB flash drive cannot be read.
The format of the drive is not accepted by this unit or the drive is not compatible.
Cannot play back JPEG files.
Make sure that the disc was recorded in the UDF, ISO9660 or JOLIET format.
Cannot play back MP3 files.
Make sure that the disc was recorded in the UDF, ISO9660 or JOLIET format.
Make sure that the bit rate of the MP3 files is between 112 kbps and 320 kbps.
Make sure that the sample rate of the MP3 files is 32 kHz, 44.1 kHz or 48 kHz.
Cannot play back WMA files.
Make sure that the sample rate of the WMA files is 44.1 kHz or 48 kHz.
Cannot play back WAV files
Make sure that the sample rate of the WAV files is 8kHz, 11.025kHz,12kHz, 16kHz,
22.05kHz, 24kHz, 32kHz,44.1kHz, 48kHz, 64kHz, 88.2kHz, 96kHz, 176.4kHz, or 192kHz on
BDs/DVDs/USB flash drives, or 8kHz, 11.025kHz,12kHz, 16kHz, 22.05kHz, 24kHz, 32kHz,
44.1kHz, 48kHz, 64kHz, 88.2kHz, 96kHz on CDs.
No return to the home menu screen when disc
is removed.
Reset this unit by turning it off for 30 seconds, then on again.

Operations may not be permitted by the disc. Refer to the instructions of the disc.
The unit cannot read Blu-ray Disc™ / DVD/ CD.
Check if the disc is compatible with this unit. (Refer to page 25.)
Wipe dirt off the disc or replace the disc.
Angle does not switch.
The angle cannot be switched for Blu-ray Disc™ / DVD which do not contain multiple
angles. In some cases multiple angles are only recorded for specific scenes.
Playback does not start when the title is
selected.
Check setting of “BD Rating Level” or “DVD Rating Level”. (Refer to page 45.)
The password for rating level has been
forgotten.
Enter the default password “4737”, then your forgotten password will be cleared.
Cannot find a JPEG file.
Make sure that the selected group (folder) does not contain more than 9,999 files for
Blu-ray Disc™ / DVD / USB flash drive, and 999 files for CD.
Make sure that the file extension is .jpg, .JPG, .jpeg or .JPEG.
Cannot find an MP3 / WMA / WAV file.
Make sure that the selected folder does not contain more than 9,999 files for
Blu-ray Disc™ / DVD / USB flash drive, and 999 files for CD.
Make sure that the file extension is .mp3 or .MP3 for MP3, and .wma or .WMA for
Windows Media™ Audio, and .wav or .WAV for WAV.
Error message appears when I select “Auto” in
the “Player Menu”.
Make sure that the unit is connected to an HDMI CEC compatible TV and the “HDMI CEC” is
set to “On”.
This error message may appear when your TV’s OSD language is not supported by this
unit.
This unit does not work properly.
