Communication Errors
If communication fails, one of the following may be the cause.
Wireless Communication Errors may occur:
- When the Base Unit, Remote Unit, or Repeater battery power is low.
- When communication has been carried out between multiple RTR-500DC Units
and one Remote Unit.
- When the wireless signal strength is weak.
- When the memory capacity is full (reaching memory capacity in the RTR-500DC)
- While the application is in communication.
Optical / Cable Communication Errors may occur:
- When the Base Unit or Remote Unit battery power is low.
- When the memory capacity is full (reaching memory capacity in the RTR-500DC)
- While the application is in communication.
When [Memory Full] appears:
Please download recorded data from the RTR-500DC to your PC and
delete unnecessary data to make space for downloading new data from
the Data Logger.
Deleting Selected Data
In the Main Menu, open [Data List] - [Select List] - [Select Delete].

In "RTR-500DC for Windows", open [RTR-500DC Manager] - [Communication]
Menu to download data from the RTR-500DC to your PC and delete the data
stored in the RTR-500DC. For details, see the "RTR-500DC Manager" Help.
Deleting All Data in Memory
In the Main Menu, open [Set Functions] - [Clear Memory].
