C.2. LED-behavior During FLASH Upgrade

Drive State (See NOTE)

READY

(Green LED/left)

ACTIVITY

(Green LED/center)

FAULT

(Amber LED/right)

ECC and header checks of the Data Buf-
fer code. The old code is still in the

memory.

OFF

The FLASH update code is being moved
to the RAM. The normal FLASH is no

longer operating.

OFF

The code is executed from RAM.

OFF

Erase has started, the old code is unre-

coverable.

OFF

FLASH programming. The LED toggles
once for each section passed.

Toggle

The programming is completed, ready to

restart the new code.

OFF

A fatal error has occurred. The Drive

must possibly be re-initialized.

NOTE 1:
