Connecting accessories to the outputs

Caution:

The maximum current of the accessory must not exceed the maximum current of the output
to which you connect it. The output may otherwise be irreparably damaged!

Disconnect any existing diodes in the leads to the lamps, otherwise the lamps might not light.
Connect the lamps and the accessories to the function outputs of the decoder. If the lamp or
the accessory is already connected with one side to vehicle ground, the connection is
complete. If not, connect the second side of the lamp or the accessory to the decoder´s
common return conductor for all function outputs.
The factory (default) settings can be found in the tables with the configuration variables
(→ sections 5.4. and 5.5.). You can assign the outputs to the functions voluntarily by setting
the configuration variables.

Examples for connecting consumers and LEDs to the function outputs

F0f and F0r: forward / reverse light
F0f: serial connection of LEDs via a common series resistor
AUX4: parallel connection of LEDs via one series resistor per LED
AUX6: combined parallel and serial connection of LEDs
