3.5.2 Connection
3.5.2.1 Connecting to the CMU or the EMU
The HCS-3630 series discussion unit is equipped with
a 2.1-metre long 6P-DIN cable with a standard male
connector. To connect to the HCS-3600M CMU, just
connect the male connector of the first unit to the
output of the main unit.
In case of a long distance between the conference unit
and the CMU (EMU), use CBL6PS extension cable.
One end is equipped with a 6P-DIN male connector
and the opposite end with a female connector. Just
connect the female connector of the cable to the next
conference unit, and connect the male connector to the
output of the main unit.

3.5.2.2 Connection between conference units
All conference units of D-series are daisy-chained
easily and conveniently.
When connecting to another conference unit, just
connect the 6P-DIN standard male connector on the
2.1-metre cable of the next unit to the 6P-DIN socket of
this unit.

3.5.2.3 External earphone
An external earphone can be connected to the external
earphone jack at the side of the conference unit. The
external earphone shall have a Ø 3.5 mm plug, as in
the following figure:
