Wake up with
the T32R:
set wake up
time
waking up
snooze after
alarm activates
The T32R can extract time and date from a FM station
broadcasting RDS
(1, 2)
or from most DAB Digital Radio stations.
Using this information the T32R can be programmed to wake-up
from standby at a set time.
To set the wake up time, press the
wake up
key on the Remote
then, using the number keys, enter the four digits (in 24-hour
clock format) for the
wake up
time you want; i.e. for a
wake up
time of 7.30am, press
0
,
7
,
3
and
0
. The T32R shows your time,
followed by an ‘on’ indicator before switching, back to the
standard display.
When
wake up
is enabled, the alarm symbol will be shown on
the left of the display. If the T32R is then placed in standby mode,
it will
wake up
at the set time.
When the T32R wakes-up at the user specified
wake-up
time, it
will play for the
alarm active time
(factory default: 60 minutes)
after which it will either switch into standby (factory default) or
continue to run (but deactivate the
snooze
mode, see below).
The T32R incorporates a snooze mode so that you can
temporarily place the tuner back into standby after it has woken
up by the alarm. Snooze is activated by pressing any key, except
standby
on the remote control. The T32R will wake-up again after
the
snooze
time (factory default 10 minutes).
33
timer functions
1. Not all stations using the full RDS capability and hence might not broadcast the time or might
even broadcast a wrong time. The time broadcasted is usually the local time which need to be
considered when receiving stations from time time zones
2. Provided the T32R can receive a FM station or a Digital Radio station transmitting the time/date
signals, the time will be automatically set. In this way, even if power is lost when in ‘standby’
mode, the T32R will re-establish the time when power becomes available. You can set the time
manually using the menu functions, for details see later in this manual.
