6.1 Preparing a new machine
6.1.1 Packing
Remove all kind of packing. Any equipment
stored in the machine should be removed.
6.1.2 Wheels
Mount the wheels (W). Wheel nut torque is
220 Nm.
The distance from the wheels to any fixed
parts should be approx. 20mm. The track
width is adjustable by slackening the axle
bolts and sliding the axles outwards or
inwards.
6.1.3 Tower
The tower (T) has two height positions:
Pos 1. Freight / storage
Height 2,55m Std. wheels 11,5/80-
15,3")
Pos 2. Wrapping and transport
Height 3,1m
(Std. wheels 11,5/80-
15,3")
Height adjustments:
Connect the tower (T) to approved lifting
device. in the lifting points (A and B)
Unfsaten the tower bolts and release the
hydraulic hoses and the electrical cables
which are fitted under the frame
Lift (or lower) the tower to the desired
posistion
Mount the tower bolts, the hydraulic
hoses and the electrical cables. Watch
out that hoses and cables are not dam-
aged.
6.1.4 Satellite arm
The satellite arms (SA) are mounted togeth-
er with the safety arms (SF) in the centre
section of the satelllite.
6.1.5 Safety arms
Safety arm is mounted on wrappers with
automatic satellite rotation. When the safety
arm is activated, the satellite rotation stops
immediately. To continue wrapping, pull the
arm to it’s normal position and re-start the
wrapping cycle.
