9.2. COLLARING HEAD ADJUSTMENT

1. 1. Loosen the thumbscrew to place the

gauge on the branch tube and lock according

to the O.D.

NOTE!

¨

Do not measure the end of the branch tube.

2. Hold the collaring head in your left hand.

3. Rotate the middle shaft with your right

hand counter-clockwise as far as it will go.

4. Using the 4 mm hex wrench, loosen the

set screws on the cover plate of the collaring

head for one half of a turn.

5. Place the gauge onto the collaring head so

that the pin in the gauge goes into the hole

at the end of the collaring head.
