User instructions
Pressure controller REP 6/10
4.5 Electrical Installation
•
Only authorised personnel may perform the electrical installation
complying with applicable regulations.
•
Hazardous voltages are exposed with enclosures removed. Do not expose yourself
to danger and make sure other people are not in the vicinity.
A wiring diagram is included with these user instructions (Chap. 8.1)!
Use conductors with max. 2.5
Conductors can be fitted with sleeve terminals to facilitate connection and disconnection!
Before finally taking the equipment into service, the cover must be screwed tight and unused cable
entries must be sealed using the enclosed plugs!
5. Basic Settings / Connection Alternatives
5.1 Reversing controller characteristics
The controller is set for increasing rpm at decreasing real value (normal condition). The controller function can be
reversed with jumper "J3".
Jumper J3 in position "A", i.e. up:
P
↓
,
⇒
n
↑
(increasing rpm at decreasing real value)
Jumper J3 in position "B", i.e. down:
P
↑
,
⇒
n
↑
(increasing rpm at increasing real value)
5.2 External reference signal
It is possible to connect a 0-10V reference signal or 1k? potentiometer to terminal
10V, GND with power output on terminal block "ext. Soll" (see wiring
diagram). External 0-10V connects to ext. Soll and GND.
It will then be necessary to make an internal switch with jumper J6.
Jumper J6 up:
Reference signal with P4
Jumper J6 down:
External reference signal (potentiometer 1k
Ω
, 0-10V)
(0-10V reference signal 0-100%)
5.3 Sensor input
The external signal connects to E and GND. Only sensors with measuring range proportional 0-10V (DC)
signal may be used.
E.g. DSG type pressure sensor.
