Pressure controller REP 6/10
7.3 Interference indicator (LED 1)
LED 1 will come on when the thermal switch motor protection has been activated to indicate that the integrated
engine protection function has been triggered (see 5.6 Motor protection).
Faults indicated with flashing LED1 (only with automatic operation)
•
Break in sensor lead or short circuit across terminal blocks "E" and GND. The controller operates with a
very small measuring range, i.e. maximum output voltage. (For controller characteristic increasing speed
with decreasing value, see 5.1).
•
Short circuit in sensor lead between terminal blocks "24V" and "E". The controller operates as with a
high value, i.e. minimum output voltage (for controller characteristic increasing speed with decreasing
value, see 5.1).
•
After reaching the upper or lower limit of the sensor range, i.e. a sensor signal of approx. 0V or
approx. 10V.
After rectifying the fault, the flashing LED1 will go out and the controller will regain its normal function.
7.4 Short-circuiting power supply for external equipment
The controller will shut down if there is a short circuit in the power supply for external equipment (terminal
blocks "24V" and "GND"). This means that both LEDs (LED1 for interference and LED2 for operation) will
go out.
The controller will start up automatically once the fault has been rectified.
