FMT 3000 Hardware Reference Manual - Connectors and Jumpers

Figure A-10. PCMCIA (PC Card) Slots (68 pin) (Connectors J3 and J4)

Each PCMCIA (also referred to as PC Card) connector contains two rows of 34 connections.
The electrical specification for connector pinouts varies somewhat depending on the type of
device used (memory, I/O etc.). Standard pin definition information can be obtained from the
PCMCIA Administration, (1030 E. Duane Ave., Suite G, Sunnyvale, CA 94086) or through
the web site, www.pc-card.com.

The unit’s controller provides full PCMCIA memory and I/O card support for two PCMCIA
slots.

Note: No +12 V supply is present on the unit for flash programming as most

flash cards now can be programmed and operated using +5 V only.
