CONTROLES PRELIMINARES

A. Nivel de aceite del motor-transmisión

Con el vehículo en plano y en posición vertical, veri-

ficar el nivel del aceite a través de la mirilla de ins-

pección (1) que se encuentra en el cárter derecho

del motor. Verificar que el nivel se encuentre entre

las dos muescas MÍN y MÁX. Para agregar aceite es

preciso quitar el tapón (2) de carga.

B. Nivel carburante

Girar la llave de arranque hasta “ON” y comprobar

el nivel de carburante indicado en la escala (1); si es

necesario, repostar.

Si el cuadrado (2) parpadea, significa que el carbu-

rante se encuentra en reserva.

C. Nivel líquido de enfriamiento

Controlar el nivel (1) en el radiador derecho con el

motor frío y parado con la motocicleta en posición

vertical. El refrigerante debe encontrarse 10 mm por

encima de los elementos. También en el vaso de ex-

pansión (2) tiene que haber siempre líquido refrige-

rante; el nivel tiene que estar comprendido entre las

marcas MÍN. y MÁX. indicadas en la figura.

El tapón (3) del radiador está provisto de dos posi-

ciones de bloqueo, la primera sirve para la descarga

preventiva de la presión existente en el circuito de

enfriamiento.

ADVERTENCIA:

No quite el tapón del radiador con el motor ca-

liente. Se corre el riesgo de que el líquido salga

y produzca quemaduras.
