Comfort dialling
Creating a new entry in the phonebook
Press the phonebook key to open the phonebook.
Open the phonebook administration menu by pressing the “Options” softkey.
Select the menu entry and press the “OK” softkey.
The display reads . Enter the telephone number
and finish by pressing the “OK” softkey. For details on how to enter special
characters see below.
The display reads . Enter the corresponding name
and finish by pressing the “Store” softkey. The display briefly shows
. The entry is now stored in the phonebook.
Press the cancel key for approx. 2 seconds to return to the standby mode.
Entering Special Characters
Note • Special characters can be entered in the telephone numbers and stored in
the phonebook. Examples are , , (dial pause) and (flash).
• Enter a dial pause by pressing the key for approx. 2 seconds.
• Enter a flash by pressing the flash key . For details on setting the length
of the flash signal, please refer to chapter “Selecting the Flash time”.
• Correct entries by deleting the last digit/character by pressing the “Delete”
softkey .
• The available characters for entering names are listed in chapter “Table of
available characters”. Press to toggle between uppercase, lowercase or
digit characters.
