Note • Make sure to insert batteries in the handset before placing the handset in
the base stations / charging bay.
• After a call has been made you may place the handset back in the base
station /charging bay. Charging of the batteries is controlled electronically
as to prevent batteries be damaged by overcharging. For best battery
performance, do not remove the batteries from the handset (other than
for replacing them by new ones) since this may have an adverse effect on
the battery capacity.
• After an extended period of use the capacity of the batteries may be
improved by fully discharging the batteries first and afterwards fully char-
ging them again.
• You can telephone for up to 12 hours with fully charged batteries.
• If the batteries are almost empty, the
‡
battery symbol is displayed
and a warning signal will be heard (if such a warning signal is enabled).
You then have approx. 10 minutes of conversation time left.
