7.1.3 Preliminary operations for LE and LE/HP units
In addition to the previous general checks, the units with remote exchanger require further investigation:
- check the correct connection of the environment control to the terminals as in the wiring diagram;
-
make sure there is an air flow control switch in the remote exchanger (in the case of units with several remote exchan
-
gers, a flow control switch must be installed for each one);
- make sure the fans are turning the right way;
- follow the instructions given in the documentation for the remote exchanger.
7.1.4 Preliminary operations for the Free Cooling No Glycol circuit
The units are dispatched from the factory with the free cooling circuit empty.
It is the installer's job to fill the free cooling circuit with an antifreeze solution.
In addition to the general checks above, in the Free Cooling No Glycol unit also check:
-
that the free cooling hydraulic circuit has been filled with an antifreeze solution, with the percentage of glycol required
by the operating conditions;
-
that the free cooling hydraulic circuit has been bled, to remove any remaining air, by filling it gradually and opening the
bleed devices on top.
Make sure the percentage of glycol is suitable for the operating conditions expected in the place of installa-
tion.
