Optional Exhaust Fans

The system supports up to three rear chassis fans. Choose up to three of the four fan positions
shown below.

Installing Optional Exhaust Fans

1. Inside the chassis, connect fan extension cables from FAN9 or FAN10 on the

motherboard to rear of the chassis. For the third fan power connector, swap out the

default riser card (RSC-R2UW-4E8) and use the optional riser card (RSC-W2-66).

2. Install the fan bracket to the rear of the chassis with thumb screws.

3. Slide the fan into the fan bracket and connect the fan power cable to connector on the

chassis rear.
