Serviceability
Status LEDs in the front and back of the Sun StorEdge S1 array indicate power and enclosure
operating status
Front−accessible, hot−swappable disk drives
Activity LEDs for each disk drive
Uses standard SCSI driver available on Sun host adapters
Server software provides drive statistics and adds functionality, for example, enables remote users to
determine whether individual drives are working
Two field replaceable units (FRUs)—enclosure and drives
