Operator Commands

Configuring Library Options

The

Configure Options

command enables you to set the following:

■

Library power-up state—Determines whether the library is on-line or
off-line when powered up.

■

Auto clean—Enables the library to perform drive cleaning tasks automatically as
needed.

■

Retries—Causes the library to automatically retry a failed command before issuing
an error message.

■

4/52 identity—Causes the library to return the same inquiry string as the ATL 4/52
library.

■

Bar code scan—Turns bar code scanning on or off during inventory. It should be
disabled when using unlabeled cartridges.

■

Auto inventory—Causes the library to perform an inventory whenever the library
is powered up.

■

Auto load—Moves any cartridge placed in the load port into an empty bin slot
automatically.
