1. Using suitable tools, undo the 10 bolts on the fastening strip of the netting, and take off
the strip so that the netting hangs free (Fig. 11).

2. Using a cutter or suitable scissors, cut the netting to the desired size. Lay the netting on a
board and mark along a stitch course with a felt pen in order to cut a straight line. To cut,
guide the slightly opened scissors along the marking.
3. Place the edge of the cut netting between the fastening strip and the pole made of coated
aluminium, and tighten the 10 bolts in the holes again.
4. Mark the positions on the ground for the holes for the 4 poles, taking into account the
new distances between the poles. Insert the anchors into the ground and then insert the
rust-free rods of the poles into the corresponding anchors (the securing hook must be on
the
side facing towards the swimming pool
). If necessary, use a rubber hammer to fully
hammer each pole into its respective anchor. The rust-free rod must be inserted fully into
the ground anchor (see the instructions in Section 3.2.1 - Installation of the modules in a
straight line).
3.2.4 Fastening modules to walls
If the fence is to be combined with one or more walls, the walls must not be too low (a
minimum of 1.10 m between support points) or have openings (doors and windows must
have child-proof latches) so as not to permit access to the swimming pool. For walls, a
minimum gap of 1.10 m must be maintained on both sides of the fastening point.
You can use the spare securing hook (included with every module) to fasten the module to
the wall. Fasten the ring screw (4.5 mm) of the securing hook to the wall using a suitable
anchor.
The manufacturer’s instructions are to be observed when installing the anchor.
The centre of the pole which is to be connected to the wall must be a distance of 80 mm
away from it.
If your fence is intended as addition to an already existing wall or another kind of barrier,
when installing, please ensure that the distance between the safety fence and the other
barriers and/or wall is not more than 100 mm at any point (
risk of children getting
stuck
).
