Remove the metal insert from the
power outlet by releasing the two
retaining clips with a small pick
tool and pushing out the front
side.
Plug the factory USB cable into
the USB-UN3 adapter included in
the SRK-JK11H kit. Reinstall the
two 7mm screws to secure the
Uconnect module.
Remove the plastic sleeve by
depressing the two tabs and
pushing out the front.
Route the USB A connector end
of the USB-UN3 up to the radio
opening.

If you are not installing the
optional USB/HDMI extension
shown below, reconnect all the
connectors on the backside of the
climate control / switch panel and
snap the panel back in place.
Part Two: USB-HDMI Extension (
HDMI-USB-CBL V2
)
Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and any Firmware Updates require access to a USB port. If the vehicle is not equipped with a factory
USB port, or if you would like an second USB port and a HDMI port, install the supplied HDMI-USB-CBL extension. For this installa
-
tion, the factory 12V power outlet will be replaced with the HDMI-USB-CBL. You can mount the USB/HDMI ports wherever you like.
Step 1
If not removed in previous steps,
remove the climate control /
switch panel by pulling outward
and releasing the retaining clips.
Unplug all connectors from the
backside of the panel.
