Refuelling

Changing the LPG cylinder

DANGER

There is a risk of explosion if LPG es-

capes!
LPG cylinders with an expired inspection

date must not be used.
The inspection intervals stipulated in the

Pressure Equipment Directive must be

observed under all circumstances. The

most recent inspection date marked on

the LPG cylinder is the date that applies.

Observe the national regulations in the

relevant country!

–

Switch off the engine.

–

Do not smoke, and do not use an

open flame or fire.

–

Check that the LPG cylinders are ap-

proved.

–

Only change LPG cylinders in well-

ventilated spaces, away from open-

ings in the ground.

–

Observe the safety regulations for

working with LPG.

Risk of explosion from spark discharge!
Striking tools must not be used to aid

opening and closing.

DANGER

Open flames, red-hot objects etc. may

cause explosions.
Frozen system parts must be thawed out

using only hot water, hot sandbags or

similar.

Observe the following safety regulations in

all cases:

Observe the safety guidelines for LPG

trucks

●

Cylinders must only be changed by trained

personnel.

●

Before releasing pipe or hose connections,

the cylinder valves and main shut-off valves
