Parking the truck securely and

switching it off

DANGER

Risk of fatal injury from the truck rolling

away!

Do not park the truck on gradients.

–

In emergencies, secure the truck us-

ing wedges on the side facing down-

hill.

–

Only leave the truck when the parking

brake has been applied.

There is a risk of fatal injury from a falling load or

parts of the truck being lowered!

–

Lower the load fully before leaving the truck.

WARNING

Volatile LPG can build up and ignite.

There is a risk of explosion!
LPG is heavier than air. It collects on the

ground, where it may form hazardous

explosive mixtures of gas and air.

–

Do not park the truck near pits, cel-

lars, stairwells, heating systems or

other heat sources.

–

Do not park the truck below ground

level.

–

Protect gas cylinders from heat.

–

Observe the safety regulations for

working with LPG.

–

Apply the parking brake.

–

Lower the fork to the ground.

–

Tilt the lift mast forwards until the tips of the

fork arms rest on the ground.

–

If attachments (variant) are fitted, retract the

working cylinders; see the chapter entitled

"General instructions for controlling attach-

ments".

–

Take your foot off the accelerator pedal and

allow the engine to continue idling for a

short while.
