Tighten down the clamp screws by

hand only using the combination

wrench or to 8 Nm with a torque

wrench.

Mounting the Cutting Attachment

The palm cutter comes with the screws

and nuts required to mount the cutting

attachment.

WARNING

Sharp cutting attachment can cause

injuries. Wear protective gloves.

Different machine versions

The cutting attachment mounting

procedure differs according to the

machine version.

Version A

WARNING

The cutting attachment may drop and

cause injuries.

Use the machine only with a properly

mounted guide (3) that is in good

condition.

Fit the cutting attachment (1) in the

forkhead (2) and line it up with the

holes in the forkhead (2) and

guide (3). The tip of the sickle or the

chisel's hook must face the ground.

Insert the screws (4) through the

holes in the forkhead, cutting

attachment and guide.

Fit nuts (5) on the screws and use

combination wrench to tighten them

down firmly.

Version B

Fit the cutting attachment (1) in the

forkhead (2) and line it up with the

holes in the forkhead (2). The tip of

the sickle or the chisel's hook must

face the ground.

Insert the screws (3) through the

holes in the forkhead and cutting

attachment.

Fit nuts (4) on the screws and use

combination wrench to tighten them

down firmly.
