3.2. PREPARING FOR USE
3.2.1. APPLIANCE LOCATION
The scale may only be operated in an environment free
from drafts, corrosion, vibrations, high temperature or
increased humidity.
3.2.2. BATTERY INSTALLATION
Use a screwdriver to unscrew the screws. Remove the covers
and insert the batteries. Then screw the screws back in.
3.3. DEVICE USE
SWITCHING THE DEVICE ON/OF:
•
Pressing and holding the „ON/OFF“ button will turn
the device on/off.
TARE/ZERO
•
Press the „TARE/ZERO“ button, so that the weight of
the load on the hook is saved as a tare weight; „T“
appears on the display.
•
Press and hold the „TARE/ZERO“ button, the display
will show „Z“; the value will be reset to zero.
DISPLAY LOCK
•
Press the „HOLD/UNIT“ button to lock/unlock the
display (the display will show „H“).
UNIT CHANGE
•
Press and hold the „HOLD/UNIT“ button to change
the units. The units change in a cyclic order: kg/lb/
UN. (KG- kilograms, LB- pounds, UN- user units).
SETTINGS
To enter the setting mode, press the „TARA/ZERO“ and
„HOLD/UNIT“ buttons simultaneously until the message
„SETUP“ is displayed. The device enters the setting mode.
Using the „HOLD/UNIT“ button, the user can enter the
parameter settings. Using the „TARE/ZERO“ button, the user
can change the value of a given parameter. The parameters
are displayed in the following order:
•
„oFF“ - automatic switch-off [min] (value „0“ -
function deactivation, 5 [min], 10 [min], 15 [min], 30
[min], 60 [min])
•
„br“ - display brightness („OFF“ value - function
deactivation, 1-dark, 2-normal, 3-light)
•
„1 dL“ - standby mode [sec] (value „0“ - function
deactivation, 5 [sec], 10 [sec], 15 [sec], 30 [sec], 6
[sec])
Press the „HOLD/UNIT“ button to exit the setting mode.

Do not weigh too heavy objects to prevent device
damage.

Do not leave any item on the scale for a long time.
•
Avoid environments with strong electric or magnetic
fields.

such as: storm, rain, snowfall, strong sunlight.
3.4. CALIBRATION
PLEASE NOTE: Calibration is only possible when using the
remote control.

The Scale displays the System Unit, e.g., KG, indicating that
the system unit is kg. The System Unit can be set to: kg and

The value 9.794 is set by default.

MAX. CAP
PLEASE NOTE! Do not set the maximum load value of the
scale to more than envisaged. Overloading causes severe
harm to scale, and is very dangerous.
2.3. PERSONAL SAFETY
a)
The device is not designed to be handled by persons
(including children) with limited mental and sensory
functions or persons lacking relevant experience and/
or knowledge unless they are supervised by a person
responsible for their safety or they have received
instruction on how to operate the device.
b)
The device is not a toy. Children must be supervised to
ensure that they do not play with the device.
2.4. SAFE DEVICE USE
a)
Do not use the device if the ON/OFF switch does not
function properly (does not switch the device on and
off). Devices which cannot be switched on and off
using the ON/OFF switch are hazardous, should not
be operated and must be repaired.
b)
When not in use, store in a safe place, away from
children and people not familiar with the device who
have not read the user manual. The device may pose
a hazard in the hands of inexperienced users.
c)
Keep the device in perfect technical condition. Before
each use check for general damage and especially
check for cracked parts or elements and for any other
conditions which may impact the safe operation of
the device. If damage is discovered, hand over the
device for repair before use.
d)
Device repair or maintenance should be carried out by
qualified persons, only using original spare parts. This
will ensure safe use.
e)
To ensure the operational integrity of the device, do
not remove factory-fitted guards and do not loosen
any screws.
f)
Clean the device regularly to prevent stubborn grime
from accumulating.
g)
Keep the device away from sources of fire and heat.
h)
Exceeding the maximum weight load may cause
damage to the device.
i)
Check the condition of the scale hook before each
use.
