2.6 Single UPS Installation
Installation and wiring must be set in accordance with the national and local codes.
2.6.1 UPS Input/Output Wiring
1. Ensure the input feed wire and breakers are rated for the current capacity of the UPS to avoid the
hazards of electric shock or fire. See
5.2 Nominal UPS Output Current
2. Remove the terminal block cover on the rear panel of UPS. Then, connect the input and output
NOTE:
Connect the earth ground wire first when making wire connection. Disconnect the earth
ground wire last when making wire disconnection.
NOTE 1:
Make sure that the wires are connected tightly with the terminals.
NOTE 2:
Install the output breaker between the output terminal and the load. The breaker should be
qualified with leakage current protection if necessary.
