Note:
On a 5.7-inch LCD daughterboard, BL_CTRL(PA8) signal adjusts brightness of backlight by
pulse signal.
Because BL_CTRL is shared with MII_MCO which is in default setting, R279 must be
removed and R283 must be soldered with a 0 ohm resistor.
The orientation setting of 5.7 inch LCD daughterboard can be changed by hinged standoffs
and pillars. There are two possible orientations according to holes on the motherboard and
pillars with difference lengths. Refer to
Figure 4
for details.

2.19 Motor
control
The STM32439I-EVAL evaluation board supports both asynchronous and synchronous
three-phase brushless motor control via a 34-pin connector, CN1, which provides all
required control and feedback signals to and from motor power-driving board.
Available signals on this connector include emergency stop, motor speed, 3 phase motor
current, bus voltage, heatsink temperature coming from the motor driving board and 6
channels of PWM control signal going to the motor driving circuit.
Some PCB rework is needed for motor control application to disconnect peripherals which
share I/Os with motor control connector and connect these I/Os to Motor control connector.
