Bubble Panel Plan:
The Bubble Panel attaches above or below the deck to either
the “deck side” or the outside of the posts with 4 post clamps.
See the Top Down View for placement.
INSTRUCTIONS:
•
DECK SIDE OF POSTS - Install the panel on the “deck
side” of the posts making sure the gap between the
panel and the deck does not exceed 3 1/2”.
•
OUTSIDE POSTS – Install the panel on the outside of
the posts making sure the gap between the panel and
deck does not exceed 3 1/2”.
•
If installing to an above deck position, install the
bottom clamps first. If installing to a below deck
position, install the upper clamps first. (See Detail B)
Install with
no more than 3 1/2” between the panel and
the nearest edge of the deck. Installation above or
below deck requires the same distance between the wall
and deck. This measurement is
CRITICAL for the
safety of the users.
•
Install the panel to the clamps. (See Detail A and C).
Center the panel between the posts. The bubble faces
OUT or away from the deck. To center, adjust the
vertical spacer bars between the posts and panel by
adjusting the set screws.
•
It is helpful to install with a couple of equal size shims
under the panel to help hold the wall in position
SPECIFICATIONS:
Event: Bubble is constructed of clear lexan and is bolted to the
panel with stainless steel hardware. Metal brackets are
powdercoated.
Paint shall be electrostatically applied oven cured powdercoat.
Hardware: Stainless steel tamper resistant
MAINTENANCE:
Touch up any marred paint surfaces.
Periodically check hardware for integrity and tightness.
